It's Been a YearThis page is dedicated to the memory of my brother, David Wayne Summers who passed away on September 29, 1998 at a young age of 39. Well, Brother Dave, it has been a year now. I'd like to say I miss you less but it would be a lie. I still think of you every day. Warren, Karen, Sherry and I went to St. Croix last winter and it was very hard not to get emotional when we thought of you. Especially, when we where in the bars having a good time. We did have more than one for you. Us guys went to Knoxville to the Nationals. I stayed out of the bars because I didn't know if I could handle it or not. Carl was there and he took up some of the slack for you. I pissed on the door of Ken's Corner knowing it would please you. It wasn't the same without you. Shelbi is growing like a weed and is as pretty as a yellow rose on Mother's Day. She does real good in school and has turned into a fine basketball player. She is a point guard. Your headstone is in and placed. Pammy done a really good job on it. You would be proud. I hope you like the page we done last year and I will try to keep one up for you to let you know what's going on. I'd tell you I'd see you soon but I hope it's a while. Life is good right now as I'm sure you know. Feel free to visit 'cause I'd like to see you and you know I'm not scared of no ghost! Have a good 'un. Dale Summers |
